Six Rows is a specialty coffee brand — drinks only. For meal prep and private chef services, visit our founder at chefmaubs.com.
Where do your beans come from?
We source directly from small farms — including single-origin rotating roasts and seasonal botanicals. Farm-to-cup, always. We partner with regional BIPOC farmers and producers across Texas and the Gulf South.
Is Six Rows affiliated with Chef MAUBS?
Yes. Six Rows Café is part of VK Capital Ventures, founded by Chef MAUBS. Six Rows handles the coffee. Chef MAUBS handles the food. Visit chefmaubs.com for private chef and meal prep services.
How often does the menu change?
Our beverage menu rotates seasonally based on what's available from our farm partners. We follow what's actually growing — so every season brings something new to your cup.
Black Coffee Club
What is the Black Coffee Club?
A monthly coffee experience — every 3rd Wednesday at 6:00 PM — hosted at The Houston Club, 910 Louisiana St, Houston, TX. 21+ only. No membership required — just register per event.
How do I attend a Black Coffee Club event?
Register for each event on Eventbrite. No membership required — just sign up and show up.
Do I need a membership or guest pass?
No. There's no membership or guest pass system. Just register for each event individually and pay your entry fee at the door.
Where is the Black Coffee Club held?
We host at The Houston Club, 910 Louisiana St, Houston, TX. Register on Eventbrite to attend.

What classes does Six Rows offer?
Hands-on coffee classes led by our instructors — including Brewing Mastery (pour-over, French press, AeroPress & espresso) at The Houston Club, and Spanish-language virtual barista classes online. Every class is listed with dates and tickets on Eventbrite.
How do I sign up for a class?
Find the class on our Events list (home page) or on Eventbrite and register there — seats are limited and classes fill. Come ready to brew: everything you need is provided.
What's the best way to experience Six Rows coffee?
Come to a class, or join us at the Black Coffee Club — our monthly social hour and tasting at The Houston Club. That's where the roasts come to life, guided by the people who roast them.
What areas do you serve?
We're roasted and rooted in Houston, Texas. Our classes and the Black Coffee Club are in Houston, our virtual barista classes are online, and the shop ships anywhere in the U.S.
Farm Partners & Sourcing
Who are your farm partners?
We partner with Houston-area farms including The Kalos Project, Harlem River Farms, and the Local Farmers Hub network. All are regional, BIPOC-centered growing operations we know by name.
What does farm-to-cup mean for Six Rows?
It means every ingredient we use — from coffee beans to botanical infusions — traces back to a specific farm or producer. No distributors, no mystery supply chains. Direct relationships, every time.
